Eating Right Spiritually

Food is obviously one of the necessities of life. However, did you know as a human there are two types of food you need in order to survive? A plant comes from the dirt and in order to survive it has to continue to draw its nutrients from the dirt. Now, if you really knew who you were and where you came from, you would know how to eat. Human comes from two words: humus, meaning dirt and man, meaning spirit. So you are a spirit in a dirt body. Jesus says something very interesting in Matthew 4:4. Therefore, God’s word and His law go hand in hand. In a kingdom, a king’s words are laws, or rules that cannot be broken without seeing death and destruction as a result.
